A spoonful of structure

After years of working in an office environment, it’s exhilerating to be all over the place. But I’ve got so much to do that I really have to get some structure back into my life. The word, “structure”, seems to sit on my shoulders and pull at my hair. So I gave in a little and tried my hand at some trochaic tetrameter. I was able to come up with two attempts at ten lines of a simplified meter of Ta-dum/Ta-dum/Ta-dum/Ta-dum. I do hope I got it right, but I’m not so sure. The Vienna Poetry Academy is running a European Kalevala – just before Austria hands EU leadership to Finland.

Even a spoonful of structure is hard. Two spoonfuls tomorrow then.
