A place where I like to hang out for the food and the way I feel good
there is the Gusto Küche Egger in the Ausstellungsstraße opposite the Prater in Vienna’s 2nd district. Food’s good, and Hansi the Wirt makes me feel at home. In summer there’s nothing like a Sommerspritzer and maybe a Schnitzel in the leafy garden.
Wiener Schnitzel from Euros 6.10; Apfelstrudel with ice cream for Euros 2.50, and ½ litre of beer for Euros 2.90 are just some examples from the broad traditional menu which is in German, English and French. Hubby helps out there so maybe I’m biased, but it was the food and the atmosphere that got us there in the first place.
