I haven´t blogged for a while, not since the end of my oldest Vienna friendship due to Covid. There was no death, thank goodness, just the end of a long friendship with an anti-vaxxer I was very worried about.
So I´m back, and a lot has happened since my last post. I have given up my imprint, FloDo Books due to health reasons unrelated to Covid. My dear husband and partner of 51 years passed away on 3 May 2023, and with nothing to keep me in Vienna, I relocated back to Sydney. I was moved that World Literature Today published my essay in their WLT Weekly. It became one of the most popular of the month of May and you can read it here.
I’m glad I didn´t let the blog die, Rachel. I´ve been looking at some postings and there a lots of ideas for new writings.
Such a lot has changed and yet here you are, a very welcome proof of your resilience.
