Soultime in the bush

I’m just back from a wonderful time in Canberra with my friend, Pam. We spent the weekend talking books, writing, and publishing with Amani Amin of Arab World Books and Egyptian author, Mohamed Tawfik. Mohamed is a writing friend from the Geneva days when we were both active on conference and editorial committees of the Geneva Writers’ Group.

In the midst of all the great talk and food, I was also able to catch up with Carla, a classmate from high school. An emotional mix on this great weekend fanned the past to the present and towards a future of new understandings.
